My name is Elizabeth. I’m glad that you stopped by. Eagle Wings is a place of encouragement. A place where you are to feel and know the love of Christ. God loves you and you are special to Him. My heart’s desire is to see everyone be set free from the bondage the enemy wants us to carry. I want to see walls that were built up due to religion and past hurts to be torn down that stops you from receiving what God has for you.
I’ve been there before so I understand. The enemy kept robbing me of even my joy, but I’m in a place now in the Lord where I can encourage others to see themselves the way God sees them, to encourage others in the Lord the way I was encouraged.
I told the God my heart’s desire, and I love writing so blogging came to my mind. The name, Eagle Wings, was given to me from the Lord. I didn’t understand why Eagle Wings…I was wanting something more…flowery…if that makes any sense, like, Garden of Eden or Transformed like a Butterfly…or something on those lines. But I looked up eagle wings scriptures and what stood out the most for me was
You yourselves have seen what I did to Egypt, and how I carried you on eagles’ wings and brought you to myself. – Exodus 19:4
Yup! That’s it!!! That’s what I want to see God do over and over again in people’s lives. He is still saving His people. So here we are and this is where our journey begins.
